Activities

timetable

The main activities of this youth exchange were: teaching and learning national dances and cultures in an interactive way, debates about how art and cultural expressions can be used as tools to promote tolerance, intercultural dialogue and social inclusion.
We developped a common sense through an interactive dance created by the participants called “European dance”. While remixing the typical dances of our home countries we show that art expression has the ability to connect different cultures. We shared 5 intercultural nights, dance workshops and many creative and interactive activities.

We do not see only the final product as relevant, the  whole process of creating has been for the youngsters a source of great experience with the other cultures. In this process they placed their own ideas, listened the others and united them into one dance. That had a need of high creativity, cooperation, tolerance, determination and persistence.
